Dude Ranches
A century ago, a stay at a Jackson Hole dude ranch usually lasted a month and the days were centered around living the cowboy lifestyle. Today, you can stay in a cabin or a glamping tent at a dude ranch for a week, and horseback riding is only one of a dozen possible ways to spend your day.

Cabins can bring your dreams of cozy vibes — a cup of coffee in a rocking chair on the front porch, falling asleep to the sound of a running creek — to life.
National Park Lodging
In the early 20th century, visitors to Yellowstone National Park toured the park over one week, staying overnight at inns and hotels that were a one-day stagecoach ride from each other. At the same time, dude ranches in and around Grand Teton National Park welcomed guests for month-long stays. Some of these same places are still open to guests. Also available are tent and RV campgrounds, rustic cabins, and modern hotels.
