Teton Pass is currently closed due to road failure on Wyoming State HWY 22 at milepost 12.8. WYDOT crews are “hoping to have the detour in place within two weeks, weather permitting.”  WYDOT is working around the clock to “build a safe, temporary detour…likely with strict weight and width restrictions…around the slide area using local fill material and paving two temporary lanes.”

Contact a visitor services agent for more information at (307) 733-3316 or call 511 for up-to-date road information.

    UP-TO-DATE INFORMATION

WYDOT is currently the best resource for up-to-date information on the Teton Pass closure.

If you’re a local to Victor or Driggs, the Jackson Hole Chamber has set up a commuter resources page with more information and alternative commute details.

    ALTERNATIVE ROUTES

HWY 26 and US 89 through Alpine, WY via the Snake River Canyon is the best alternative route into Jackson from the west. Please prepare accordingly: route times will vary due to increased vehicles on the road. Check current route times via Google Maps.

Note that Teton Pass is only one of four ways into Jackson Hole. The town is still accessible from the North, South, and East using traditional routes.

Jackson Hole Airport, both national parks, hotels, businesses, and activities in Jackson Hole are still OPEN to guests.
