While Jackson Hole is known for its luxe high-end offerings, you don’t have to spend a fortune to enjoy this special place and all it has to offer. Here are some local tips to make your trip less expensive.
Save up to $400 per person on airfare with the Jackson Hole Air Credit
Book flights, lodging, and qualifying activities through Jackson Hole Resort Reservations, and you can save up to $400 per traveler on airfare. The deal is valid for up to four travelers, and restrictions apply.
Find great lodging deals by planning ahead
To get the best deals on lodging, plan ahead and consider bundling your activities through a lodging package. A variety of local properties are offering specials for spring break as well as around the Rendezvous Festival. These include everything from lodging discounts to discounted lift tickets and more. Snow King Resort has a number of special offers that include lift tickets and lodging discounts. Grand Targhee Resort also offers a number of lodging packages and specials.
Save on lift tickets
To save on lift tickets, purchase them in advance online. Also, check if you qualify for any discounted lift tickets. If you have a season pass from another resort, see if it is part of a partnership program that may allow for a discount. Jackson Hole Mountain Resort’s Golden Ticket program allows season pass holders from any resort to purchase 50% off lift tickets with certain parameters (and also offers lodging specials). Military members are eligible for 40% off lift tickets at JHMR, and Grand Targhee offers a number of lift ticket discounts, including 30% off for military.
Ride GTR to access Grand Targhee Skip the driving and hop on the Ride GTR shuttle to Grand Targhee Resort on the western side of the Tetons. Ride GTR includes transportation and a lift ticket.
Enjoy affordable off-slope adventures Jackson Hole isn’t all skiing and snowboarding. Ice skate on the Town Square, take the kids for a sled ride, and spend the night cheering at a Jackson Hole Moose Hockey game. Grand Teton National Park offers a snowshoe with a ranger program on Wednesday and Friday afternoons through March 15 (reservations required). You can borrow a pair of historic snowshoes (with a few more modern options available) or provide your own and enjoy a one to two mile snowshoe hike. Wyoming Stargazing offers free public stargazing programs on clear Thursday nights year-round (donation recommended).

Many restaurants offer happy hour specials, so consider opting for an après or early dinner to enjoy beverages and bites. Or select grab-and-go options from a number of local delis, bakeries, and grocery stores to save.
