The Jackson Hole Dining Guide
After nearly two decades of eating my way through Jackson Hole, I’ve learned that some of the best adventures happen around the table—whether it’s a breakfast burrito before first tram, après margaritas, or a cozy date night. Food has always been one of the most authentic ways to connect with a place. Outside of Jackson, I’ve traveled to several countries where I didn’t speak the language, yet through meals, markets, and shared tables I quickly came to understand the destination, its people, and its culture. The flavors, ingredients, and traditions tell a story that goes far beyond what any guidebook can offer. In many ways, food becomes a universal language. One that instantly makes a place feel familiar, welcoming, and memorable.
And that’s exactly what makes the Jackson Hole dining scene so special. From longtime local favorites to new culinary concepts, the restaurants here offer visitors and locals alike a true taste of the valley—one plate, one story, and one unforgettable meal at a time.
With so many great options, deciding where to go can be overwhelming, so here’s my list of go-to spots for every occasion. For even more dining inspiration, I always pick up a Dishing JH magazine, visit dishingjh.com, follow @dishingjh on Instagram, where you’ll find weekly blogs, events, and the latest local favorites.

It’s equal parts classic burger joint and locals’ everyday staple.
