Fourth of July in Jackson Hole: Parades, Fireworks & Events Guide

    By Visit Jackson Hole

    Stars, Stripes & Teton Nights

There’s something uniquely American about celebrating the Fourth of July in a place like Jackson Hole—where rugged mountains meet wide-open skies, and the rhythms of summer are set to the beat of live music, community pride, and fireworks.

Whether you're a longtime local or visiting for the weekend, this year's Independence Day lineup offers a perfect blend of small-town charm and big-sky energy. Here's your guide to 4th of July weekend in Jackson Hole.

    JULY 3 | The Weekend Kick-Off

10 AM – 5 PM | Visit the Other Side of the Tetons
Grand Targhee, just over Teton Pass from Jackson Hole, offers an entire day’s worth of activities like sightseeing, climbing, hiking, and more than 70 miles of cross-country and downhill biking!

6 PM – Concert on the Commons: Pink Talking Fish
Before the fireworks fly, get into the groove with Pink Talking Fish, a genre-bending jam band that fuses the music of Pink Floyd, Phish, and Talking Heads into one psychedelic sonic experience. Free, family-friendly, and set against the dramatic backdrop of the tram, it’s the perfect prelude to the holiday.

~10 PM – Fireworks at Teton Village
Once the final notes fade, turn your eyes to the sky. The Teton Village Association’s legendary fireworks display lights up the slopes of Rendezvous Mountain. Bring a blanket, grab a spot in the base area or the parking lot, and let the alpine fireworks remind you why summer nights in the Tetons are unforgettable.

*Firework shows in Jackson Hole and surrounding areas are subject to cancellation based on fire danger.
Fireworks are strictly prohibited in Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone National Park, and Bridger-Teton National Forest.

JULY 4 | Parade by Morning, Fireworks by Night

10 AM – Jackson Hole Fourth of July Parade
Few things capture the spirit of the West like our Fourth of July Parade. Expect fire trucks, kids on bikes, swing dancing, candy, and lots of horses with Western flare—all winding through the heart of downtown Jackson. Come early, bring a chair, and be ready to cheer.

4–7 PM – Friday Night Bikes at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort
Before the evening festivities, hit the trails at JHMR’s Bike Park where $20 lift tickets, 50% off downhill bikes rentals, and 2-for-1 tacos + margaritas at Tin Can Cantina make the 4th of July celebrations a little more adventurous.

6 PM – Concert on the Commons: Joslyn & The Sweet Compression
Smooth, soulful, and irresistibly funky, Joslyn & The Sweet Compression bring powerhouse vocals and horn-fueled energy to the Commons. Pack a picnic or grab food from the Village—this one’s not to be missed.

7 PM – Patriotic Pops with Grand Teton Music Festival
What’s more American than a symphony under the stars? The Grand Teton Music Festival delivers an orchestral celebration of patriotism.

8 PM — Jackson Hole Rodeo
The Jackson Hole Rodeo is one of the most uniquely Western experiences you’ll find anywhere. Plus, tickets to the Jackson Hole Rodeo on 4th of July mean guaranteed front row seating for the 4th of July fireworks launched from Snow King.

~10 PM – Fireworks: Teton Village & Snow King
Yes, both. Double the fireworks, double the fun. Teton Village will once again light up the mountainside, while Snow King’s downtown display offers stunning views right from town. Wherever you watch from, the Fourth ends with a bang—and that’s just how we like it.

*Firework shows in Jackson Hole and surrounding areas are subject to cancellation based on fire danger.

JULY 5 & BEYOND | Keep the Celebration Going

July 5 – Snow King Concert: Luke Grimes & Carter Faith
Country fans, mark your calendar. Actor-musician Luke Grimes and rising star Carter Faith take the Snow King stage for an evening of heartfelt lyrics and wide-open melodies.

July 5-6 — Wildflower Run at Grand Targhee
Grand Targhee Mountain Resort’s Wildflower Run hosts 10k, half marathon, and 50k distances. Plus a little 1k run for the kiddos.

July 5 — Jackson Hole Rodeo
This long-standing tradition conintues into the summer, all the way until Labor Day, every Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. “It’s the old West — the closest you can get to the way things were.” -Brandon Wilson, fifth generation Jacksonite.

July 6–August 17 – Concerts on the Commons Continue
If you love the vibe, you’re in luck. Free Sunday concerts at Teton Village return every week at 5 PM through mid-August—because in Jackson Hole, summer’s not a moment, it’s a whole mood.
