    Jackson Hole & Public Lands are Open Through the Remainder of the Season

    Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Park, and Bridger Teton National Forest, are still open but will have limited services available.

    Citizen stewardship will be important to making your experience memorable and safe, and in ensuring these public lands remain pristine during your visit.  Public restrooms will be open and maintained, and emergency services are still available. National Park visitor centers will be closed, and there will be no rangers or on-site ambassadors with information available to answer questions or concerns.

    Many lodging, food, and beverages concessions will begin their normal seasonal closures on October 5, 2025.

    Keep Jackson Hole Wild: A Visitor’s Responsibility

    Please help our wild places stay wild by respecting national lands, being aware of your impact, and upholding the highest standard of safety practices.

    • Have a plan before entering public lands.
    • Download maps and information before you go.
    • Pack out anything you bring in, and dispose of it in the correct waste containers.
    • Obey all signage, stay on trails, and respect closures.
    • Stay 100 yards away from bears and wolves and 25 yards from moose, bison, and elk.

    Jackson Hole Is Open to Visitors

    The Town of Jackson, Wilson, and Teton Village all remain open to visitors with full services and plenty to do in the fall. While national park services may be limited, Jackson Hole’s vibrant community continues to welcome visitors with open arms. Restaurants, shops, galleries, and local attractions are operating as usual, and there’s no shortage of ways to experience the authentic spirit of the Tetons. From exploring art galleries on the Town Square to soaking in hot springs, fall in Jackson Hole offers incredible experiences beyond park boundaries.
